Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions → ambofit → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge; you keep access until then. Apple’s guide: Cancel a subscription from Apple.

Apple handles all payments, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves.

Tap Restore purchases on the subscription screen, or in ambofit’s settings under Subscription. Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you subscribed with. If a purchase needs approval, for example through Ask to Buy, ambofit unlocks as soon as it’s approved. Still locked? Write to us.

In ambofit’s settings under Subscription, tap Upgrade to Pro or Manage subscription, or change it in your Apple Account subscriptions. Moving to Pro, or from monthly to yearly, applies right away and Apple refunds the rest of the old period proportionally. Moving to Basic, or from yearly to monthly, applies at the next renewal.

The free week is for new subscribers. Apple grants it once per Apple Account across all ambofit plans.

Yes, on every iPhone signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account.

Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account and install ambofit. Your workouts, food log, weigh-ins and settings come back from your iCloud. ambofit’s settings show whether iCloud sync is on.

In ambofit’s settings, under Data, tap Export data. You get CSV files for Numbers or Excel with your workouts, food log and weigh-ins. Without a subscription, you find Export your data at the bottom of the subscription screen.

Delete single entries in the app. To remove everything, delete ambofit from your iPhone and remove its iCloud copy in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → ambofit → Delete Data. There is no copy of your workouts, meals or weight on our servers. More in the Privacy Policy.

Yes. Logging workouts and foods, food search and all insights work without a connection. Looking up a new barcode and AI photo need internet.

Over 7,000 foods come from the German Federal Food Key (BLS 4.0 by the Max Rubner-Institut) and are stored in the app. Barcodes are looked up at Open Food Facts and, for US products, in USDA FoodData Central.

Not every product is in Open Food Facts or USDA FoodData Central. Scan the nutrition label instead, or create the food yourself. You can also add or correct the product at openfoodfacts.org.

Take a photo of your meal, optionally add a note like “fried in butter”, and check the estimate before you log it. You can correct it up to twice. The photo and note go to our server and to Google Gemini for recognition and are not stored. Pro includes 10 AI photos a day, Basic 3 to try. Details in the Privacy Policy.
